A . The Yuengling Light Lager Jogger will take place on Saturday, April 21, 2018.
Q . What time does the race start?
A. The run/walk will begin promptly at 9:00am

A . The race will start and finish at the old Yuengling Brewery in Pottsville, PA

Q . How much does the race cost?
A. $40 plus an online processing fee.
Q . If I missed registration, will you open more spots?
A . No, the Yuengling Light Lager Jogger typically sells out within a few days and we will not be able to open more spots. In order to provide a safe and enjoyable event for our runners and spectators we must cap the number of registered participants at 3,500. Registration typically opens in mid-October each year so please mark your calendar!
Q . I missed signing-up for the race and it's now sold out! Is there a waiting list?
A . Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to be placed on the waiting list. Should someone who has registered for the race can no longer make it, we will reach out to you to see if you are still available to participate to initiate the transfer registration process. See the "transfer registration" FAQ below for more information.
Q . Can I run with a stroller or dog?
A . No, we love your kids and dogs too but our insurance policy will not allow any participants to run or walk with strollers or animals. Sorry, no exceptions.
Q . Where can I park?
A. Parking will be FREE to all runners on race day. You may park at the Manatongo Parking Garage, the Union Station lot, the 84 Lumber lot, the One Norweigan Plaza lot, and in the lot reserved for Ramada cutomers. Ample signage will be placed around lots on race day and volunteers will assist with traffic flow. See the 'FREE Parking' tab for a detailed and printable map.
Q . Who can participate in the race?
A . Runners and walkers of all levels can participate in the race. The event is perfect for running your fastest 5k or for those who are more interested in taking it easy and enjoying the brews.
Q . Will the race be timed?
A . Yes! The race will be professionally timed with the most advanced timing technology available. Timing to be completed by Mid-Atlantic Timing.
Q. Can someone else pickup my race packet for me at packet pickup?
A. Yes! We are here to make your life easier. Someone else make pickup your packet for you as long as they are able to show some form of verification to our staff.

Q . Can I transfer my race registration to another person?
A . Yes, you may transfer your bib to another runner. The deadline for all transfers is April 9, 2018 at midnight. No transfers will be processed after this date, at packet pickup, or on race day. No exceptions. All transfers are processed online and a $10.00 processing fee will be applied.
In order to request a transfer you must obtain written permission. Transfers will only be honored with written permission from the original bib owner. An acceptable form of written permission is an email from the current bib holder giving permission to give up their bib and process the transfer to another individual.
To request a transfer send the request to email@example.com. Once the request has been made a link will be sent to you to complete the new registration online.
Q . Will there be prizes awarded to the winners?
A . Yes, the top 3 overall males and females as well as the top 3 male and female age group winners will receive fantastic Yuengling prizes!
*in accordance with USATF standards, overall awards will be based on gun time only. Age group awards will be awarded based on chip time.
Q . What do I get for participating?
A . In addition to a well-organized event and volunteer support along the course, all participants will receive an official race t-shirt, virtual goodie bag, race bib with timing chip attached, two free Yuengling Light Lagers (for all participants 21 years of age+), and an official Yuengling Light Lager Jogger 5k pint glass.
Q . Can I take a tour of the brewery?
A . Of course! Here is the update brewery tour information for race weekend:
Thursday, April 19 at 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm AND 1:30pm (not required to pre-register)
Friday, April 20 at 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 1:30pm, 3:30pm, 4:00pm, 4:30pm, 5:00pm, 5:30pm (not required to pre-register)
Saturday, April 21: There will NOT be race day tours available this year.
It is OSHA mandated that everyone touring the facility must have closed shoes, no sandals, flip flops, clogs, crocs, etc. are permitted due to OSHA regulations.
